Promin’

This past weekend, my friends and I spent the day primping and preparing to dance the night away at our last prom!  This year, I wanted to remain true to my free and easy bohemian style, even for prom.  Mom and I knew this might be a difficult task, so we started the hunt for the perfect dress early.  We just happened upon my $40 Anthropologie dress (What a steal, right?!) and decided that since there was only one left in my size on sale, it must be fate – so of course we bought it!  I decided to pair my yellow floral/aztec patterned dress with black velvet block heels from ASOS and a simple black lace choker from Urban Outfitters for a relaxed gypsy look.  Needless to say, I stayed true to my “hippie” self.  My best friend, Kendall (pictured above), took a completely different approach with her outfit, but looked simply stunning and elegant.  She wore a simple white cutout dress from Revolve and dressed it up with lace-up heels from DSW, turquoise statement earrings from BaubleBar, and a braided updo for a glam look. Finding your personal style can be a struggle.  Whatever the event, whatever style you choose, here is my advice:  Trust your instincts and wear whatever makes you feel like the very best version of you!  Then, you will feel confident and beautiful no matter what.  Feeling beautiful is ALWAYS in style.summer signature 2
