During the summertime, we tend to snack all day…because we can! One of our favorite snacks is homemade trail mix. We prefer making our own because we are in control of the ingredients. We luv a mix of salty and sweet. It is the perfect snack to enjoy at home or eat on the go. So, here is our favorite combination of fruits and nuts and such!
Recipe:
12 ounce bag of banana chips
6 ounce bag of dried cranberries
12 ounce bag of Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 ounces of honey roasted almonds (place in colander and shake off excess sugar)
6 ounce bag of unshelled pistachios
3 ounce bag toasted coconut chips
Mix all of the ingredients together in a large bowl and bag it up! It doesn’t get much easier than that, and in our opinion, it is so much better than the store bought versions. Enjoy!
