Beauty Buzz #2

When we think of summer here in Texas, we think of intense sun rays, stifling heat, and a constant need to hydrate – not just our bodies, but our skin too. The hot weather requires slight adjustments to our beauty regimen. After a little experimentation, we have a few favorites to share that won’t break the bank…here’s what’s on our summer must-have list:

Mario Badescu Summer Shine Body Lotion – This lightweight lotion not only hydrates the skin, but the subtle shimmer particles mixed in the product will also give you a natural glow. We luv to use it on our collarbones, shoulders, and our shins for a shimmering highlight.

Mario Badescu Facial Spray – We swear by this product and find ourselves spraying it on our faces during all hours of the day! It can be used to set your makeup or to give your skin a pick-me-up whenever you feel it necessary. This rosewater infused spritzer will leave you feeling refreshed and give your skin a dewy youthful glow that makes all of your friends have skin envy.

Glossier Haloscope (in Quartz) – This easy-to-blend highlighter is a new find for us, but one that we fell in luv with instantaneously! Just swipe it above your cheek bones, down your nose, and onto your Cupid’s bow, blend with your finger, and voila – your skin will look radiant! The great thing about this product is that your skin still looks like skin with a healthy sheen, instead of skin with caked on makeup. Click here to get 20% off your first order at Glossier!

If you decide to give one of these products a try this summer, let us know which one becomes your favorite by the end of the season 🙂signature
